After a slow start this morning Andy Murray eventually proved too strong for Nadal with the Spaniard being forced to retire in the third set when 2 sets to nil down and 3 games down in the third set . It was a superb performance from Murray against the defending champion and Murray has yet to lose a set in this years competition . Murray is a strong favourite to avenge last year's defeat to Marin Cilic in the US Open in his semi final and progress to the Final
