Man Utd Manager Alex Ferguson Speaks Out to Defend Glazers

In an interview with CNN news channel Alex Ferguson has again re-iterated his opinion that the Glazer family have been supportive of him and the club .

Ferguson stated that the Glazers had never prevented him from acquiring players and stated that everytime he has requested money for new signings the money has been available . The Manchester United Manager said" It's unfair that because a particular family like the Glazers have bought it, they should come under criticism when anybody could have bought it.I have to say they've done their job well. "

United have made few signings so far during the close season whilst Manchester rivals City have brought in a stream of top quality players including Ya YA Toure for £24M and top striker David Silva from Valencia .
