The up and coming young Ulsterman, Rory McIlroy has recovered quickly from his St Andrews disappointment and is again threatening the top of the leaderboard at 7 under par.

He tees off at 12.30 with another rising star of golf, Chris Wood who has twice finished in the top 5 of the Open Championship. Woods is on 6 under for his two rounds.

Victor Chandler offer odds of 8/13 for McIlroy to shoot the best round of the two day while Totesport will give odds of 2/1 for Woods to have the better day.
