Former X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon heads the list of contestants who will be toughing it out in the jungle when I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here returns to our screens on Saturday 14 November. Bookmakers have installed the Essex-born entertainer as favourite to win the competition, believing her dizzy personality will win over the nation’s viewers and Sportingbet’s odds of 9/4 are the best out there. In an ITV poll over 60% of voters nominated Stacey as the person they are most looking forward to see, no doubt anticipating that as a regular on London’s dating scene, she may be the one to provide the love interest during the series. TV’s favourite Essex Girl will have competition from Playboy bunny Kayla Collins who is sure to set pulses racing deep in the Australian outback. Dietician Gillian McKeith could have some practical advice for her jungle companions if she can stomach eating raw insects of course. Former Bond girl Britt Ekland likes to be in on the action while Paul Gascoigne’s ex-wife Sheryl Gascoigne reckons she’s not afraid of roughing it in the jungle. The show’s hunks will be record-breaking British sprinter Linford Christie and the cool Brazilian rapper Aggro Santos who are both ready for any challenge. Suave Nigel Havers will be the most distinguished of the male contestants with an on-screen reputation for charming the ladies and former politician Lembit Opik will be looking for laughs. Mancunian singer Shaun Ryder joins the party and viewers will be expecting trouble from the legendary hellraiser. Ryder is second favourite at odds of 6/1 with Bodog while William Hill bet 13/8 for him to be the Top Man.
