Odds & Free Bets On Next Premier League Manager to Go

Six bookies are laying odds on which Premier League manager will be next to leave his post and all offer free bets for new accounts . The bookmakers and free bet offers are listed at the foot of this article .

Steve Kean the Blackburn Rovers manager has been favourite in this market for some time and with just four points from the opening seven games of the season it is easy to understand the Rovers fans frustration with their rookie boss . The fans really turned against Kean during the second half of their 4-0 defeat to Manchester City at Ewood Park and Kean who took over from Sam Allardyce in December last year is a worthy favourite in this market .

However Rovers do have a reasonable run of fixtures during October with away games at QPR and Norwich either side of home games against Spurs and Newcastle and it is feasible that Rovers will collect enough points during this month to retain the support of the club's owners, the Venkys .  

Currently the best odds for Kean to be the next Manager to leave his post are 8/11 with Ladbrokes . Ladbrokes curently have an easy to collect £50 Free Bet but are noticeably shortest odds on Sunderland's Steve Bruce being the next to go .

Whether or not the magic sign are privy to some inside information is pure speculation but at odds of only 2/1 on Bruce , Ladbrokes are well below the general odds of 11/4 . Certainly Ellis Short is intent on ringing the changes at Sunderland and the stepping down of Niall Quinn this week from the Chairman's role was only the latest in a series of changes at the wearside club that has seen Chief Executive Steve Walton and Marketing Director Lesley Callaghan move on in recent months .

Short has now stepped in to replace Quinn as Chairman and is unlikely to allow Bruce much more time to improve the Black Cats lowly position as he has invested over £100M in the club to-date and is now under further pressure from a serious fall in attendances at the Stadium of Light this summer .

Sunderland have two away games in succession following the international break with a visit to fellow strugglers Bolton after the unenviavble task of taking on Arsenal at the Emirates .

If Sunderland were to lose both of these games the 11/4 being offered up by 888Sport , Blue Square and Skybet would surely look like the football bet of the season .

Of course many other managers are also under severe pressure , Owen Coyle at Bolton , available at odds of 10/1 with Stan James  is probably the best value right now . Bolton have to visit Wigan before "entertaining " Sunderland and failure to win one of these early season relegation battles could spell the end for Coyle who did so well for the Wanderers last season .
