Three-year-old Nathaniel has already enjoyed success against more mature rivals, beating Workforce in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on his last outing in July.

Ascot have applied the last sprinkling of water to the ground which clerk of the course Chris Stickels described as good going and with mostly dry weather forecast up to the weekend, the drying conditions spell bad news for the chances of Prix du Jockey Club winner Reliable Man.
