New England Patriots are looking for back-to-back to wins when they entertain Kansas City Chiefs in the Monday night NFL game after bouncing back from a two-game losing streak against the New York Jets. Competition for the top spot in the Conference opened up after the Patriots slipped to 5-3 with consecutives defeats against Pittsburgh Steelers (17-25) and the New York Giants (20-24) but returned to winning ways with a convincing 37-16 victory at the Jets in Week 10.

Monday’s visitors Kansas City Chiefs have been hampered by injury in recent weeks and will try to avoid a three-game losing streak without the former Patriot quarterback Matt Cassel. Joining Eric Berry, Toney Moeaki and Jamaal Charles, Cassel is the latest key player to be sidelined for the Chiefs. Unable to field a full strength team, the Chiefs are sliding down the AFC standings with a 4-5 record following consecutive defeats at home to Miami (3-21) and Denver (10-17).

The expectation is a straight forward home win with bookmakers asking the Patriots to give the Chiefs 15 points on the spread. Total points line for this game is 46.5, Chiefs at Patriots have been under this line in the last three head to heads, the Chiefs are 6-1 Unders in their last seven and Patriots have been Under in their last two at home.
