Odds Against X Factor Winner For Xmas No.1

The 2011 X Factor winner will be decided tonight but this year the bookmakers reckon that whoever wins the show may not have the Xmas No.1

Leading UK bookmaker Betf365 are offering odds of 5/2 on the X Factor winner being Xmas No1 with the Military Wives Choir the odds on favourite with all bookies. Rupert Adams who is spokesman for William Hill one of the largest UK bookmkaers said “Christmas week starts on the 19th so the first week of downloads and half a week of hard copies will NOT count towards the Christmas one so they could struggle to beat the might of the military choir”.

The X Factor show has as usual been a real moneyspinner for bookies and many bookmakers are betting in running throughout the grand final this evening. Girl band Little Mix are favourites going in to tonight's show and Adams confirmed that "At the moment the pendulum has swung in Little Mix’s favour but I am sure Gary has got something up his sleeve for the grand final. It is so close that we will be betting throughout the live final and expect it to go down to the wire”.

William Hill reportedly expect to take up to 100 bets a minute on the X Factor winner during the live final. There are always many different betting markets associated with the X Factor show and William Hill are now betting on who will be a judge on the 2012 X Factor series and make Kelly Rowland odds on to lose her job !

Good news is that Cheryl Cole may return and she may be worth a flutter at odds of 5/2 .
