FA Cup Provides Few Suprises In Fourth Round
Tagged under: FA Cup

Only Brighton's win against Newcastle could be classed as a real suprise in the FA Cup this weekend and bookmakers now make Chelsea , Spurs and Liverpool joint favourites to win the competition this season.
The fifth round draw was very kind to the leading Premier League club's with Liverpool drawn at home to Brighton , Chelsea at home to Birmingham and Spurs facing an away trip to League One Stevenage.
William Hill, the official betting partner and an official supporter of the FA Cup, have priced up some of the match ups and unsurprisingly make both Liverpool and Chelsea 1/16 shots to qualify from their ties. Hills also offer 1/8 that the final is contested between two Premier League sides, and 100/1 that no Premier League sides make it to the Wembley final and 9/2 that only one Premier League side does.
Hills spokesman Joe Crilly said rather obviously "Crawley and Stevenage are going to be up against it, but the only thing predictable about the outcome of the FA Cup is that it is so unpredictable and we could see a couple of the proverbial banana skins.”
Sky Bet football trader Joe Petyt said: "Liverpool and Spurs are well backed and should progress to the quarter-final stage without too much fuss."
The full draw for the Fifth round of the FA Cup is as follows :
Chelsea v Birmingham
Crawley v Stoke
Everton v Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday
Liverpool v Brighton
Millwall or Southampton v Bolton
Norwich v Leicester
Stevenage v Tottenham
Sunderland or Middlesbrough v Arsenal or Aston Villa
Ties to be played Feb 18/19
