    Match Preview

Mexico and Cameroon open their 2014 World Cup campaigns in the Arena das Dunas on June 12. Both sides will be desperate for a good start in their opening Group A game, to maximise their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages.

Mexico go into the opener as favourites and you'll find a range of match markets on where you can compare prices offered by the leading bookmakers and find the best World Cup odds.

The two countries have never previously met in a major tournament, but Mexico did win 1-0 in a friendly with Cameroon back in 1993. The Mexicans enter the game with a six-game unbeaten streak, but Cameroon have only won two of their previous six games and were thumped 5-1 by Portugal back in March.

With seven goals in his country's last six games, Mexico's Peralta is the standout player to consider for a goalscorer bet and - while Makoun tops the list of scorers in Cameroon's last six games - Eto'o will surely be the main goal threat for the African side this summer.
