    Match Preview

Russia play South Korea in Group H at Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba and will be looking to do a professional job before facing favourites to top the group Belgium in their second match.

Having performed slightly above expectations to top their group in qualification for the 2014 World Cup, Fabio Capello's side will be hoping to reach the Second Round in similar circumstances. They face World Cup regulars South Korea who will be aiming to repeat their effort of four years ago and get past the group stage for the second time. Taegeuk Warriors were beaten into top spot of the last round of AFC World Cup qualification by Iran and they arrive in Brazil on the back of some patchy form. The sides met for the first time in November last year when Russia came out on top with a 2-1 friendly victory in Dubai.

Punters looking for value in the goalscorer markets may want to bypass the obvious striker options of Alexander Kerzhakov and Aleksandr Kokorin in favour of backing midfielder Roman Shirokov at likely bigger odds and with the added benefit of being on penalties. For South Korea, Chu-Young Park has a knack of opening the scoring and it is worth noting that they found the net first when the sides last met, albeit against an understrength Russia team.
