England and Portugal were among the standout performers, and there were a few records smashed along the way too.
We have returned with another enticing treble in the total goals section, which pays out at a handsome 22/1 with William Hill.
Euro 2024 qualifiers Acca – 22/1
- England v Ukraine – Over 3.5 goals
- Kazakhstan v Denmark – Over 3.5 goals
- Malta v Italy – Over 4.5 goals
England v Ukraine – Over 3.5 goals
It was a case of two halves for England as they recorded their first win away in Italy since 1961.
Gareth Southgate’s men are widely expected to tussle it out with the Italians for top spot in their qualifying group. But while they were terrific in the first 45 minutes against Italy, they were sloppy in the second 45 and crept over the line with a 2-1 win.
The victory, however, saw Harry Kane become the Three Lions’ all-time top scorer, surpassing Wayne Rooney, and doing so in 39 fewer games.
Although Ukraine will pose a threat, England should win comfortably and there could be plenty of goals. Our first pick has there to be Over 3.5 goals during the 90 minutes which is available at 13/8.
Kazakhstan v Denmark – Over 3.5 goals
Denmark got off to the perfect start in their quest for Euro 2024 qualification as they saw off Finland 3-1.
Rasmus Hojlund netted a hat-trick as Finland proved to be resolute opposition before Hojlund capped off a virtuoso display with his third strike of the evening deep in stoppage time.
Kazakhstan, meanwhile, were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline in their opening game, but the Danes could prove to be too strong.
This game could also throw up plenty of goals, and for my second pick, I have gone with the Over 3.5 goals line, which is trading at 13/8.
Malta v Italy – Over 4.5 goals
It’s fair to say that Italy won’t have been happy with aspects of their display against England, and they were roundly booed as they trudged off the pitch at half-time.
There was a bit of a subdued atmosphere at times in Naples, but the Italians will need to dust themselves down and pick themselves back up again.
They could well find joy against much limited opposition in the form of Malta.
The Azzurri could well claim an emphatic victory, and if you like the sound of there being Over 4.5 goals, you can find a price of 12/5 for this to be the case.
