Cameroon World Cup Betting | Odds & Predictions

We have a range of World Cup tips available across every team, group and game of the tournament in Qatar. Here is how we think Cameroon will fare at the World Cup, and which betting odds are currently standing out to us.

Although Cameroon are no longer the giants of the African game, the Indomitable Lions are still a welcome addition to any World Cup and after earning qualification in March of this year, it means a third finals appearance since 2010.

Cameroon Odds and Betting Tips

A big win over Brazil in their final game gave Cameroon something to cheer, but ultimately, it wasn’t enough and they failed to qualify for the knockout round of the 2022 World Cup.

Cameroon World Cup Group

  • Switzerland 1-0 Cameroon
  • Cameroon 3-3 Serbia
  • Cameroon 1-0 Brazil

Cameroon 2022 World Cup Squad

Here is the confirmed Cameroon 2022 World Cup squad that will play in Qatar.

  • Goalkeepers: Devis Epassy (Abha Club), Simon Ngapandouetnbu (Marseille), Andre Onana (Inter Milan).
  • Defenders: Jean-Charles Castelletto (Nantes), Enzo Ebosse (Udinese), Collins Fai (Al Tai), Olivier Mbaizo (Philadelphia Union), Nicolas Nkoulou (Aris Salonika), Tolo Nouhou (Seattle Sounders), Christopher Wooh (Stade Rennes).
  • Midfielders: Martin Hongla (Verona), Pierre Kunde (Olympiakos), Olivier Ntcham (Swansea City), Gael Ondoua (Hannover 96), Samuel Oum Gouet (Mechelen), Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Napoli).
  • Forwards: Vincent Aboubakar (Al Nassr), Christian Bassogog (Shanghai Shenhua), Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting (Bayern Munich), Souaibou Marou (Coton Sport), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu (Young Boys Berne), Jerome Ngom (Colombe Dja), Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (Besiktas), Jean-Pierre Nsame (Young Boys Berne), Karl Toko Ekambi (Lyon).

While although it is fair to say that Cameroon’s golden era was between 1990 and 2002, it is also fair to say that the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Patrick Mboma and now manager Rigobert Song have set the path for the current generation to walk on.

While the man with arguably the best agent in world football is also a part of the Cameroonian panel and with Bayern Munich’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s set to feature in their attack, he will be tasked with providing the supply line to his teammates.

A supply line that will likely be built in the direction of current captain Vincent Aboubakar and with the forward having already scored more than 30 goals for his country, an addition to that tally in Qatar will be welcomed.
