After a double rollover, the excitement is mounting as the Euromillions jackpot for Friday 10th of October is an estimated £100 Million.
Tuesday's numbers of 9, 21, 28, 30 and 38 combined with lucky stars 1 and 8 were not successfully matched meaning the top prize of £88,304,909 will be carried over to Friday's draw. 4 lucky lotto players were on the money though, matching five numbers with one lucky star to win just over £333,000 each.
Despite being an estimated £100 Million, this Friday's jackpot falls some way short of the highest ever Euromillions jackpot. In August 2012 a single winner from the UK scooped a jaw-dropping £148,656,000, which came just over a year after another lottery lover from the British Isles landed a massive £161,653,000.
UK players account for just over 15% of the total jackpot winners since the first Euromillions draw in February 2004 including four of the top ten all-time biggest jackpot winners. All four of those UK winners netted over £100 Million, the most recent of which was landed in March this year.
