New for 2025, Turners take over sponsorship of the opening race on Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival.
Officially known as the Baring Bingham Novices' Hurdle, it's a race that often produces future stars, with its list of winners including Faugheen, Samcro, and Envoi Allen.
Despite recent Irish dominance, Dan Skelton's The New Lion is prominent at the head of the betting after a string of dazzling performances, but he faces a potentially tough battle against the Willie Mullins-trained Final Demand.

Next up is the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, previously known as the RSA Chase, a demanding three-mile test for up-and-coming stayers with Cheltenham Gold Cup aspirations.
Willie Mullins landed the race in 2024 with the JP McManus-owned Fact To File, and he looks to have a strong hand in this year's renewal with Ballyburn and Dancing City heading the ante-post betting for the Closutton trainer.

The first handicap of the day is the Coral Cup, one of the Festival’s most competitive races.
With a potential maximum of 26 runners, it always delivers a thrilling contest and plenty of luck in running is required.
The Dan Skelton-trained Langer Dan made history in 2024 as the first dual winner, but he would face a tough challenge of a much higher mark if he attempts a third victory in 2025.

- Tip 3 - 9 of the previous 11 winners were in the top 3 in the betting

In its early years, the Cross Country Chase was dominated by trainer Enda Bolger, who won four of the first five renewals for owner JP McManus.
McManus has owned seven of the 19 winners, highlighting the race's tendency to produce repeat champions.
A true test of a horse's versatility and stamina, it has seen multiple back-to-back winners, including Tiger Roll in 2018 and 2019.
The 2024 renewal was abandoned due to waterlogged ground, denying Delta Work the chance to claim a third victory.

Quick, accurate jumping is crucial in this race, where the slightest mistake can prove costly.
The 2025 renewal is shaping up to be a thrilling clash, with the Nicky Henderson-trained Jonbon leading the betting.
However, two-time champion Energumene remains a formidable contender at 11, while last year's Arkle winner, Gaelic Warrior, possesses the raw talent to shake up the division if he brings his best form to the big stage.
Throw the exciting front-running Il Est Francais into the mix also, and the 2025 Champion Chase could be one of the week's highlights.

- Tip 4 - Just 1 of the previous 12 winners won on their last run before the race
Previously the final race of the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand Annual was moved to Day 2 in 2021.
The switch to the Old Course has made the race an even greater test of speed, as this track is slightly shorter and sharper than the New Course, emphasising quick jumping and tactical positioning.
Typically a wide-open handicap, the final field will not be known until nearer the start of the Festival.

The Weatherbys Champion Bumper is the only flat race at the Cheltenham Festival and this race is always worth noting for future Festival contenders, as it often showcases raw talent that will develop over hurdles and fences in the years to come.
It's a race that has been dominated by trainer Willie Mullins, who has saddled the winner of the race on 13 occasions, including in 2024, with Jasmin De Vaux.
