3 in a row for Webber?

Can Mark Webber take his winning run to three and make the hat trick in Turkey? Early indications are that he won't, according to the fans of the sport on Formula One’s official website 43% said the Australian will not take the chequered flag in Istanbul next weekend. They aren’t necessarily experts, but they know a thing or two and they may be on to something. The pressure must be building on Mark, a type of pressure he has not had to deal with before, can he be the best Formula One driver in the world for 2010? This is the question that will run through his mind. Then there is his younger, more eager team mate who after narrowly missing out on a world title in 2009 to Jenson Button, is looking to be the first German since Michael Schumacher to win a championship, which would of course, be a great feeling. The reigning world champion will also have something to say about Mark Webber’s resurgence and will not want to give up his title without a fight. It is safe to say that no one is expecting Michael Schumacher to take part in the title fight, especially with his grid drop for Monaco costing valuable points, his more youthful team mate is more likely at this stage to take up the fight for the Mercedes GP team. The more likely outsiders at this point are Robert Kubica in a reborn Renault team or an unlikely underdog in Filipe Massa in the Ferrari, most attention in the team has shifted to his more successful team mate. Results last year are promising if you are a Red Bull fan; Jenson Button 1st in the Brawn GP, Mark Webber 2nd in the Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel in the same car. So taking into account the lack of pace from the re-branded Brawn team, and the poor performance from Mclaren 13th and 14th! It would look set for Red Bull to carry on their dominance, no one is expecting anything other than a Red Bull on pole. The odds tell a similar story; Red Bull 8/13 to be the winning car ahead of Ferrari 3/1 with SkyBet. All odds correct at the time of publication.
