With both Ryan Moore and Richard Hughes appearing to have a host of strongly fancied rides at next weeks' Royal Ascot festival, it is no surprise that bookmakers aren't taking any chances in pricing up the contest. Both jockeys are as short as 2/1 to ride most winners over the five days, with 11/4 Moore and 3/1 Hughes the best odds available. As well as an abundance of Hannon trained 2 year-olds Richard Hughes can look forward to partnering many high class animals, including, Canford Cliffs, Paco Boy, and possibly Dick Turpin in the Jersey Stakes. Ryan Moore may not have the 2 year-old fire power of Hughes but that is more than made up for with the older brigade. With Harbinger looking a banker in Saturday's Hardwicke Stakes, as well as the likes of Kingsgate Native, Ask, and Strawberrydaiquiri, the champion jockey is sure to be among the winners. As both jockey's are so short in the market it may pay to look elsewhere for some value in the contest. That value could lie with the 33/1 available with both BlueSq. and Ladbrokes about Henry Cecil's stable jockey Tom Queally. The jockey has three outstanding mounts in Twice Over, Manifest and Jaqueline Quest, all of which are likely to go off favourite. Other notable rides include Principal Role, Timepiece, Bullet Train and Moose Moran. With a number of decent mounts in the handicaps, the 33/1 on offer about Queally represents the best value in a lop sided market.
