Bookmakers are offering free bets and special offers for 150th Anniversary Open Championship at St Andrews from 15 July – 18 July.
Justin Rose, winner in two of his last three tournaments in America, has been drawn alongside world number one Tiger Woods and Colombian Camilo Villegas and will tee off at 9.09am on Thursday and 2.20pm on Friday.
Woods and Rose played together eight years ago in The Open at Muirfield. The English golfer, only 21 at the time, out-scored Woods 68 to 70 in the first round, but followed it up with only a 75 to the American's 68.
Woods was the reigning Masters and US Open champion at the peak of his form at the time.
This time around Woods heads to the season's third major having finished tied fourth in both the Masters and US Open this year but has struggled to find any real consistency of form.
Rose is odds of 15/8 with 888 Sport to beat his playing partners over the first 18 holes and the bookie will give new customers up to £20 back if the first bet loses.
Tiger is attempting a hat-trick of wins at the ‘Home of Golf’, having won on his two previous visits to St Andrews in 2000 and 2005, and brings a new putter in an attempt to regain his edge on the greens.
Rose, still remembered for his fourth place finish at Royal Birkdale as a 17-year-old amateur in 1998, was European number one three seasons ago and made his Ryder Cup debut the following September.
After suffering a mini-slump he has burst back to prominence on the American tour and he will be playing his first major of the season at St Andrews.
