Cesc Fabregas has finally confirmed that he will be staying at Arsenal next season and insists he will be 100 per cent focused for the new season . The Spanish midfielder confirmed that " I can assure all of the fans that , now the negotiations have ended i will be focused on playing for Arsenal , I am looking forward to the start of the season and putting this speculation behind me . The announcement was a catalyst for a renewed gamble on the Gunners winning the Premier League title and the odds for them to do so were cut by Blue Square , Paddy Power and 888sport after heavy support . Paddy Power are offering special each way terms on the Premier League this season and are paying 3 places . Spokesman Darren Haines confirmed that "All of the money has been for Arsenal and we had to cut them from 13/2 to 6/1" Dutch forward Robin Van Persie joined in the general talking up of Arsenal's chances yesterday saying that he thought the wait for silverware could soon be over ,"I want to repay the club and the fans and everyone with trophies" he commented . However Coral are still offering 7/1 for the Gunners to win the Premiership with each way terms of 1/3 odds 1-2 . The Premiership this season looks like being one of the most open for years although it is hard to disagree with punters that this could be Arsenal's best chance in years to win . Elsewhere in Premiership betting news bookmakers have generally shortened the odds on Liverpool to win outright after Fernando Torres committed himself to the Merseysiders for another season . Betfred offer a standout 16/1 which is perhaps reflective of their real chances but out of line with other bookmakers and betting exchanges .
