Online Bookmakers are giving away free bets and money back offers for England’s friendly international against Hungary at Wembley on Wednesday 11 August. England boss Fabio Capello’s leadership has come under question following the reaction of senior professionals to the announcement of his overhauled squad to face Hungary on Wednesday. The Italian announced 13 changes from the World Cup squad to be quickly met by rebuffals from Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson and Manchester United defender Wes Brown who declared their retirement from England duties. Robinson and Brown were both overlooked for South Africa and the timing of their decisions is thought to be have been calculated to cause maximum embarassment for the under-pressure England boss. Elsewhere, Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has questioned the selections in Capello’s latest squad, saying some of the players who have been called up can’t even get in their club side. Redknapp told talkSPORT radio: “It’s a strange squad. Suddenly there are all these players who weren’t good enough to go to the World Cup and are now all in the England team. It’s amazing really. “We have kids in there who have obviously got good ability and hopefully have got good futures, but they are players who can’t get in their club team but can get in the England team.” Capello has named the uncapped trio of Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs and Bobby Zamora in his squad to face Hungary on Wednesday and recalled Robinson, Ben Foster, Theo Walcott, Adam Johnson, Carlton Cole, Darren Bent, Brown, Phil Jagielka and Gary Cahill. Ladbrokes bet 5/1 for Sunderland striker Darren Bent to score first on Wednesday with England 1/3 to win the game.
