Roberto Mancini’s West Brom side will be high on confidence following an impressive to start to life back in the Premier League and will look to maintain that feeling when they go to Leicester on Tuesday night. Online bookmakers are enticing first-time customers with free bets and offer cash back specials for Tuesday’s Carling Cup fourth round tie between Leicester and West Brom at The Walkers Stadium at 7.45pm. Albion recovered from a 6-0 thrashing by Chelsea on the opening day of the season to claim the notable scalps of Arsenal and Sunderland with draws against Tottenham and Manchester United to prove they can compete at the highest domestic level. West Brom assistant coach Eddie Newton has admitted that the Carling Cup is not high on the list of the club’s priorities, although the fightback to win 2-1 against Manchester City in the third round might suggest he is trying to underplay this game. Mancini will not put out his strongest side, but knows a good cup run will help maintain the feelgood factor within the camp and Victor Chandler bet 6/4 the Brummies will win the tie in normal time. Albion’s Peter Odemwhingie won’t be risked as he recovers from a knee injury and fellow striker Marc-Antoine Fortune will sit the game out after coming off with an ankle injury against Fulham at the weekend. Roman Bednar should get the chance to play up front and Pablo Ibanez is expected to be asked to replace central defender Jonas Olsson who departed after 55 minutes on Saturday with an Achilles problem. Although Npower Championship side Leicester are struggling fourth from bottom of the table, just a point from a relegation place, bookmakers are not writing off their chances in his game. City’ have shown improved form since former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson took over at the beginning of October although they did suffer their first defeat of the month when losing 2-0 at title challengers Swansea on Saturday. William Hill are offering odds of 21/10 that Sven can guide his new charges to a home victory and a place on the fifth round draw. Leicester will be grateful of a home tie against Premier League opposition having travelled away to Leeds and Portsmouth, winning both games 2-1 and Crystal Palace where they won 3-2 in the first round. City skipper Matt Oakley is not available due to a thigh injury that could keep him out for a month and defender David Davies will be rested after being replaced against Swansea when straining his hamstring. Michael Morrison is expected to lineup in defence while Sven has the option of Julio Moreno and Yuke Abe to replace Oakley.
