Recalled fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has bowled Australia back in to the Ashes series with figures of 6-38 on the second day of the third Test in Perth .
Johnson was the star bowler for the Aussies as England were skittled out for just 187 after being 77 for no wicket during the morning session . This was Johnson's seventh five wicket haul in Test cricket and he said “Being dropped from the Test team in Adelaide was disappointing but it was a good wake-up call for me and got me working on things that I needed to,hopefully out there I showed that today.
In their second innings Australia made 119/3 by close of play to give themselves a 200 run advantage with 7 second innings remaining .
Bookmakers make Australia strong favourites to win the game and level the Ashes series at 1-1 with Stan James offering the best odds of 1/3 .
However the game could change suddenly if England can grab some early wickets on the third day and Andrew Strauss's team will feel confident of chasing down a target of around 300 in the final innings .
Bookies offer odds of 7/2 on an England victory and this certainly appeals as better value than a dangerous odds on bet as Australia's bowlers have generally performed poorly in the series to-date .
