Paddy Power is offering odds of 5/1 for British number one Andy Murray to make it a hat-trick of wins at the Rogers Cup in Montreal this week.

The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event gets underway on Monday with the world number four looking to become the first player since Ivan Lendl in 1989 to win three consecutive Canadian titles. The defending champion receives a first round bye and his first opponent will playing on Court 5 today as he is due to meet the winner of the match between Pablo Andujar and Kevin Anderson in round two.

World number one Njovak Djokovic is pre-tournament favourite, best priced at odds of 15/8 at Boylesports. The reigning Australian Open and Wimbledon champion won the Rogers Cup in Montreal four years ago and will be making his first appearance in an ATP World Tour event as the world’s top ranked player having wrested the position from Rafael Nadal in June.

Nadal, a two-time winner in Canada, is available at odds of 10/3 at Coral and will be desperate to regain the number one position he lost when beaten by Djokovic in the final at Wimbledon.

Roger Federer also lines up in a strong field for one of the oldest Open events on the Tour calendar. A 6/1 chance at Betfred, Coral and Victor Chandler, the former world number one will be trying to restate his authority in world tennis after slipping behind Djokovic and Nadal recently.
