Cheltenham Festival 2017

Ladbrokes and BetVictor have today joined Bet365 as the bookmakers who are offering non runner no bet on every race at the 2012 Cheltenham Festival.
Bet365 were the first bookmaker to announce this concession on all ante-post bets up to the Festival earlier this week and now Ladbrokes and BetVictor have followed with effect from today March 1st.
Sponsors Betfred are also currently offering the non runner no bet concession on the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Anyone looking to place a bet for Cheltenham should be aware that at the moment they will lose their stake on ante-post bets if their selected horse does not run in the designated race unless they bet with a bookmaker who is offering the non runner no bet offer.
As reported earlier this week in www.freebets.com, Bet365 are also offering best odds guaranteed on all races at the Cheltenham Festival so if your horse has a higher starting price (SP) than the ante-post odds you take Bet365 will pay you out at the higher odds.
As the build up to the Festival continues in fine warm weather the prospect of the ground becoming firmer can not be discounted, however Cheltenham Clerk of the Course Simon Claisse has confirmed he is happy with the ground currently and aims to continue watering the course with the aim of good to soft ground for the opening day of the Festival on March 13.
Claisse said yesterday that "the course looks in fantastic condition," but punters should be aware that there is little rain forecast for the next ten days and the cross-country track at Cheltenham is currently good to firm.
Keeping the ground good to soft may be quite a challenge.
