2016/17 Premier League

Defeat at the Stadium Of Light yesterday has plunged QPR back into the Premier League bottom three and Mark Hughes knows he has a massive job keeping Rangers up.
Rangers had Djibril Cisse sent off against the Black Cats but were never really in the game and manager Hughes admitted afterwards that "We didn't perform anything like the level I expect.", Hughes continued "It was a poor performance all round..if we want to get out of this situation we need to be a lot, lot better."
The problem for QPR now is that they face by far the toughest run in of any team involved at the foot of the Premier League and must still face the top five teams in the Premier League in their remaining eight league games. In form Arsenal are next up at Loftus Road followed by a trip to Old Trafford and bookmakers see little chance of QPR surviving this term. Paddy Power are currently offering the best odds on QPR being relegated at 4/11 whilst optimistic Rangers fans can back their side at odds of 5/2 to stay up with either Blue Square , 888Sport or Skybet.
Yesterday's win over Blackburn has helped to lift Bolton above QPR and out of the Premier League bottom three and Owen Coyle's side have a relatively easy looking run in starting with a visit to Wolves next weekend.
