San Marino are propping up World Cup qualifying Group H with zero points after seven straight defeats. At 207th in the FIFA World Rankings, La Serenissima were always expected to struggle and suffered their worst defeat of the campaign at the hands of Ukraine when they lost 9-0 in Kiev on Friday. Head coach Giampaolo Mazza can only work his squad harder in training as they don't have the quality in personnel to effectively out-play Poland, so expect to see them putting men behind the ball in an attempt to soak up the pressure at Stadio Olimpico.
Poland still have an outside chance of making it to Brazil 2014, but did themselves no favours against Montenegro at Stadion Narodowy on Friday. Robert Lewandowski's equaliser at least spared them a point before he was injured as the match finished 1-1 and fourth placed Poland will be hoping England can beat Ukraine who are four points ahead of them in third. The White Eagles should have more than enough quality to see off San Marino, but head coach Waldemar Fornalik does have some decisions to make and must choose between Paweł Brożek and Marcin Robak to lead the attack in Lewandowski's absence.

San Marino were easy meat for Poland when the sides met in Warsaw in March and lost 5-0, but without Poland's talisman up-front will be hopeful that they can achieve a more respectable scoreline in front of their home fans.
