England continued their preparations for Brazil 2014 at their training camp in Portugal today and it was good news for manager Roy Hodgson as Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Phil Jones all took part in the session.

Phil Jones is England's biggest injury doubt ahead of the World Cup and was restricted to a lighter, non-contact training session to aid his recovery from a shoulder problem. 19-year-old John Stones also had a limited workout after twisting his knee on Tuesday. The Everton defender along with Liverpool's Jon Flanagan are the only standby players which have traveled to Vale do Lobo as Hodgson opted to leave behind John Ruddy, Andy Carroll, Tom Cleverley, Michael Carrick and Jermain Defoe, with the latter being particularly upset at not being selected.

Freebets.com ambassador Matt Le Tissier will no doubt be pleased to hear that Southampton trio Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw were all put through their paces and came through the session unscathed. Speaking in a press conference after today's training session Roy Hodgson seemed upbeat and encouraged by the progress of the Three Lions. England play their first match against Group D favourites Italy in Manaus on June the 14th.
