Arsenal v Man City kicks off a big weekend of Premier League football

The transfer window is closed and the international break is over, Premier League football resumes this weekend and there are some cracking games to have a bet on.

And it's sure to get off to an electrifying start with Arsenal v Man City live on BT Sport 1 at 12.45 on Saturday to kick us off. The Gunners snapped up Danny Wellbeck on deadline day and he'll be raring to go on his debut after grabbing a brace for England in the week. Man City have eased in Premier League Outright betting after the first of probably many shocks this season when Stoke beat the odds to claim a 0-1 win at the Etihad. There are usually plenty of goals when these sides meet and punters can look forward to a pulsating game at The Emirates.

Chelsea can be backed at enhanced odds 4/1 to win the Premier League with 888Sport, which looks to be an amazing offer on the balance of what the Blues have shown so far. Wins over Burnley and Leicester were more or less expected, but Jose Mourinho made sure there was no repeat of last year's loss at Goodison Park this time around and we were treated to a 3-6 thriller as his side out-scored Everton. Swansea have started the season brightly making this 15.00 kick-off a 'top of the table' clash of sorts, but they would do well to get a result at Stamford Bridge.

Also taking place at 15.00, Crystal Palace welcome Burnley to Selhurst Park, Newcastle make the long journey to St Mary's to take on Southampton, Stoke take on Leicester, Sunderland face Tottenham and Everton are away to West Brom.

At 17.30 live on Sky Sports 1 it's Liverpool v Aston Villa which has been a far from predictable tie in recent seasons. The Reds will be hoping to improve their home record against Paul Lambert's side having drawn two and lost one of the last three encounters at Anfield, games which yeilded a combined 10 goals. Mario Balotelli is likely to lead the line for the home side with Daniel Sturridge a doubt, while the visitors will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign.

On Sunday, Rio Ferdinand could face his old club for the first time since joining QPR as the Hoops head North to Old Trafford. Radamel Falcao looks set to start his first game for the Red Devils with Robin Van Persie doubtful and should inject some much needed fire-power into the attack. Marcos Rojo could also make his debut after finally gaining a work permit and will join fellow countryman Angel Di Maria in the side. Daley Blind could be another to make his first appearance in Louis Van Gaal's overhauled squad as Man Utd try to get back on track following a slow start to the season.

Monday Night Football will bring the curtain down on another cracking round of Premier League action when West Ham host Hull. The Irons are searching for their first home win of the season, while Tigers fans will be looking forward to seeing some of Steve Bruce's deadline day signings in action.
