Freebets.com has teamed up with Betfair for a competition to give away 4 tickets for Haydock Park on Saturday which features the tenth running of the Grade 1 Betfair Chase.
The two-day Betfair Chase meeting is the curtain raiser for the jump season at Haydock Park, the three-mile contest is the first Grade 1 race of the season and guarantees a top quality entry every year. The race sponsors have kindly provided Freebets.com with 4 tickets for the County Enclosure on Saturday where the competition winners will have a great view of the Winning Post plus access to the winners enclosure, parade ring as well as access to a selection of bars and restaurants in the Centenary Stand and Tom Whittle Stand.
Entry into the competition is simple, follow Freebets on Twitter and watch out for the competition tweet then just retweet and reply with your answer to the question. Correct entries will be placed into a draw when the competition closes at 12pm on Thursday 20 November. One winner will receive four tickets, he/she will be contacted by Direct Message for a postal address and Betfair will post the tickets by Special Delivery.
Winners will be able to witness seven top quality races on the second of the two-day meeting, including a highly competitive Grade 3 Fixed Brush handicap hurdle as well as the Grade 1 feature race. The market leader for this year’s Betfair Chase is Cue Card trained by Colin Tizzard, The eight-year-old gelding won the race 12 months ago before landing the RSA Chase at Cheltenham in the spring and will renew rivalry with old adversaries Silviniaco Conti who won the King George on Boxing Day and 2014 Ryanair Chase winner, Dynaste.
Cue Card and Silviniaco Conti will be bidding for a second success in the race but have some way to go to meet the achievements of the great Kauto Star who dominated the event until his retirement in 2012. The dual Gold Cup winner landed the Betfair Chase four times for trainer Paul Nicholls between 2006 and 2011 to ensure he will live long in the memory of Haydock racegoers. Good luck to all entrants who could witness another piece of history in the making on one of the best days on the National Hunt calendar.
