The Baggies look to get back in the winning groove against the high-flying Hammers on Tuesday night, read the Freebets.com West Brom v West Ham preview.

It's been a difficult few weeks for West Brom, but after facing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea they have a good opportunity to pick up three points against West Ham at the Hwathorns.

Last Time Out

Danny Welbeck's header proved to be decisive as Albion slumped to a third league defeat on the bounce when losing 0-1 to Arsenal on Saturday. The Hawthorns faithful had little to cheer about barring a late header off the bar by Saido Berahino during a late rally and were deservedly beaten on the balance of play.

It's now been over 300 minutes since West Brom hit the back of the net and some fans made their feelings clear when Alan Irvine hauled off Stephane Sessegnon for Giorgios Samaras by chanting "you don't know what you're doing." After the game, Irvine stated that the substitutions he made resulted in numerous chances in the last 15 minutes which on another day could have salvaged a point. The Baggies boss also spoke of his disappointment with the decision to flag Berahino offside with the scores at 0-0, when the England striker looked to have put the hosts ahead.

The defeat leaves West Brom just two points above the drop zone and three from the foot of the table. But looking at things in a positive light, stringing together a run of results could see West Brom head into the festive season in a mid-table position, so taking points off the likes of Hull away next weekend and against West Ham on Tuesday would prove to be massive results for the club.

Who Will Win?

West Brom have lost their last 3 matches in the Premier League and confidence is low at the Hawthorns. This is backed up by the fact that Albion just can't seem to find the net at the moment and that doesn't bode well against a West Ham side that has scored in every away game this season.

Five of the last seven Premier League meetings between the Hammers and the Baggies have ended as draws, with one win a-piece in the other games in that run. If West Ham score first then it could be another long 90 minutes and Alan Irvine will probably endure some more jeers, but at odds of 2/1 generally available the smart money could be on the draw for those who follow the trends.

Will There Be Goals?

There have been under 2.5 goals scored in West Brom's last 4 games in the Premier League, while West Ham have seen over 2.5 goals in their last six games on the road.

The last two home games against West Ham have been rather drab affairs with just a single goal scored and on current form this doesn't look like being a thriller. Bets on Under 2.5 Goals may be of interest, while punters can get protection on losing Correct Score and Half-Time/Full-Time bets with the Bore Draw offer at William Hill.

Who Will Score?

Saido Berahino is tried and tested against the Hammers having scored in both of his previous Premier League matches against West Ham, one being an equaliser at the Boleyn Ground and the other a winner at the Hawthorns.

He was unlucky to be ruled offside and to also hit the woodwork last time out, but looks a solid bet for First Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer markets in this match.
