Followers of Freebets.com racing tips will be pleased to find that both of today's selections are set to go off at much shorter odds than when initially recommended.
Channel 4 Racing will screen both the Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase and King George VI Chase and those of you who got on the big prices can look forward to watching today's action with a couple of value bets in hand.
1.45 Wetherby - William Hill Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase
Broadway Buffalo unsurprisingly heads the betting for Wetherby's Grade 3 feature race, but as suggested by Alan Kelly, David Pipe's charge won relatively cosily in a weak contest last time out and may therefore find this too hot. Cape Tribulation warrents respect, but having tipped Rose of The Moon at 12/1 on Christmas Eve it's pleasing to now find odds of 9/1 the best available.
The David O'Meara-trained horse is expected to leave a patch of poor form behind on a course where the horse boasts two wins from two starts, something which Pricewise seem to agree with having also tipped Rose of the Moon this morning.
3.10 Kempton - William Hill King George VI Chase
Racing fans are in for a real treat in this Grade 1, with a stellar field of 10 promising to provide a cracking race. Silviniaco Conti is the market leader and will take the world of beating if running to his best, but it's another Paul Nicholls runner which could steal the show.
Alan Kelly's ante-post advice was to get on the 12/1 about Al Ferof and punters who followed that tip will now be sitting pretty as only a couple of firms are still quoting odds of 7/1, while others are not taking any chances as short as 11/2.
The 2012 Paddy Power Gold Cup winner looked to be back on song when storming home from a decent field in Ascot's Amlin 1965 Chase and we could be capable of winning today's big race from top-weight as he did at Cheltenham two seasons ago.
