32 of the world's best snooker players will contest the 2014/2015 Players Tour Championship Finals at Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand between 24–28 March. The season's ninth ranking event features new World Grand Prix champion Judd Trump, who heads into the tournament on a high having eventually beaten Ronnie O'Sullivan in a big final.
Trump is a four-time winner on the tour with a 50% win ratio in finals, but while plenty of punters will be siding with "The Ace in the Pack" here, it must be noted that he is yet to contest, let alone win the Grand Final of this event.
Mark Selby's has reached more tour finals than any other player and has won 6 of the 9 he has contested, but was beaten by 2010/2011 Grand Final runner-up Martin Gould in the World Grand Prix last week, while Neil Robertson found one player too good in the tournament's two subsequent renewals prior to Barry Hawkins beating Gerard Greene 4-0 last season.
Shaun Murphy and Ding Junhui join Hawkins as the only former Grand Final winners in the field, but there are plenty of potential winners to choose from with Stuart Bingham, Stephen Maguire, Mark Allen, John Higgins and Mark Williams completing the more fancied players in outright betting.
