The 2015 Masters gets underway at Augusta National this week and there’s plenty to get excited about with the return of Tiger Woods, the emergence of Jordan Spieth and the prospect of Rory McIlroy achieving a career grand slam.
Golf punters can look forward to some great offers with extra places and money back incentives but so far there is nothing to match Coral’s new customer offer giving treble odds on any player.
No matter who you fancy to don the famous green jacket on Sunday, open a new account with Coral and you’ll get treble odds for your player.
The promotion went live at 8.00am on Monday 6th April and bettors have until 2.50pm (GMT) on Thursday to sign up and get three times the price on their Masters selection. Click on this link and you can place up to £5 at treble odds.
So who do you think will come out on top in the first major of the year? Here’s my shortlist for the 2015 Masters.
2015 Masters Five Against The Field
The Ulsterman is head and shoulders above the rest at this point in his relatively short career. At the age of 25 McIlroy is already a five-time major winner and just needs the Masters to complete a career grand slam. He’s the justifiable favourite at 11/2 and treble odds takes him up to 33/2, that’s rounded up to 17/1 when you open an account with Coral.
The 21-year-old finally proved he was a winner in Australia last year and has come out firing on all cylinders this season with victories at the Hero World Challenge and Valspar Championship. Spieth has finished second in his last two tournaments, he goes into the Masters in the form of his life and ready to prove he has what it takes to be a major champion. Coral will get plenty of takers at 10/1 and 30/1 for new customers is outstanding value.
The popular Swede is a back-to-back winner of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai and has a consistent record in the majors, finishing top 4 in the last eight he’s played. The 38-year-old is warming up nicely for the Masters with four top 4 finishes in his last four tournaments and could be ready to tame Augusta this year. Coral are top industry price at 22/1 and that means 66/1 for anyone signing up for the treble odds offer.
The 26-year-old was the only player to finish in the top 5 in all four majors last year. He was unable to pull off a maiden major victory, best finishes were runner up in the Open and US Open, and will be hoping this is his year. Fowler is a 33/1 chance with Coral and new customers can get 99/1 with the treble odds offer.
The 36-year-old is still searching for his first major championship and can be considered a dark horse this week. Kuchar is one of the most consistent players on the Tour and has a decent record at Augusta where he has finished top 10 on his last three appearances - his best was tied 3rd in 2012. Coral are going top industry price 35/1 for Kuchar which equates to massive 105/1 for anyone opting for treble odds.
