Get the latest transfer betting odds amid speculation of Manchester United reportedly making a £35m bid for Real Madrid Sergio Ramos, with rumours of the Spanish club lining up Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny as a potential replacement.
A number of online bookmakers have suspended Sergio Ramos transfer betting following reports that Manchester United have made an official £35m bid for the 29-year-old Real Madrid centre-back. The player has reportedly asked for the offer to be considered and Ladbrokes go best odds 7/2 that Ramos in a Man Utd player after the transfer window, though Sky Bet remain unconvinced with odds of 8/15 that he will remain at the Bernabeau.
Defensive frailties were often United's undoing last season and the experience of Ramos will go some way to solving that issue, if Louis van Gaal can indeed get his man.
The prospect of Ramos leaving would create quite a void in the Real Madrid back line and a number of media outlets are suggesting that Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny is being line up as his replacement should a deal go through. However, the 29-year-old Frenchman is considered a key player and it's thought a fee in excess of £20m would be required to open negotiations, prompting online bookie bwin to quote odds of 1/5 that he'll still be at Arsenal and 5/2 to be at Real Madrid after this transfer window.
Elsewhere, Manchester City are expected to continue their persuit of Raheem Sterling and the England international is odds-on to move to Eastlands, with Sky Bet quoting a top price of 6/1 that he remains a Liverpool player in this transfer window.
Transfer betting for Carlos Bacca is also hotting up with both Man Utd and Liverpool reportedly interested in the 28-year-old Sevilla striker. A £21m buy-out clause in his contract would need to be met, with Liverpool apparently the front runners at 7/2 with Betvictor, while the same firm go 12/1 that he moves to Old Trafford in this window.
