Get the latest transfer betting odds amid speculation of Arsenal reportedly making a £21m bid for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal as are Tottenham set to cut loose a number of 'flops' from their £100m spending spree.
Arsenal look like continuing their recent change of tactics in the transfer market with a reported £21m bid to land Juve and Chile star, Arturo Vidal. Reports last week suggested that Gunners playmaker Alexis Sanchez - a close friend and international team-mate of Vidal's - may have persuaded him to join Arsenal and the club are now front-runners for his signature with Ladbrokes offering best odds 4/6 that the 28-year-old will move to the Emirates inside this transfer window and Sky Bet quoting 6/4 that he stays.
Whether or not the fee offered will meet Juve's valuation of the player is unknown, but if Arsene Wenger gets his man, it will be the third marquee signing in as many season's for Arsenal - A stark contrast to the conservative approach to player acquisition that frustrated fans so much in seasons gone by.
Exodus Of Tottenham Flops
Sticking with the North London-Turin connection, Tottenham's Erik Lamela could be heading to Juventus after failing to settle in his first season after being signed for a club record £30m from AS Roma. The 23-year-old showed plenty of potential in Serie A, but has only put in a handful of decent performances in the Premier League and Juve are reportedly favourites to sign him - perhaps with the cash from Vidal's proposed move to Arsenal?
Lamela was one of the players brought to Whitehart Lane following Gareth Bale's transfer to Real Madrid and a host of others bought in the £100m spree of two years ago, also look to be heading for the exit door.
Roberto Soldado is reportedly in talks with Turkish side Galatasaray and it's understood that newly promoted Watford are interested in midfielder Etienne Capoue. Swiss side Basel are hoping to take defender Vlad Chiriches, who has flopped since arriving from Steaua Bucharest, while Brazilian midfielder Paulinho - a £17m signing from Corinthians - is heading to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande with a fee in the region of £10m agreed.
Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli are perhaps the only players to have cemented a place in the side from that transfer splurge and the likes of Younes Kaboul, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon are also out of Pochettino’s plans as a summer of rebuilding gets underway.
