Barcelona set their sights on January move for Premier League star performer...And it's not Coutinho!

Liverpool will need to fight off top European clubs once again, as another star is linked with a massive move in January. The Mirror reported Sadio Mane has caught the eye of Barcelona, who are monitoring the forward’s progress at Anfield.

The Blaugrana missed out on Philippe Coutinho, and could test the Reds resolve with a massive bid for Mane. The Catalan club are still keen to strengthen their attacking options after losing Neymar to PSG over the summer.

The Senegal star joined Liverpool in 2016 for £34 million on a five-year contract, and scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in his first season at Anfield.

He has proven to be a key player for the club and currently in top form this season. The Senegalese striker scored in his first three Premier League matches before receiving three match ban after a red card against Manchester City.

Mane also attracted the attention of Real Madrid and Juventus, which may create a bidding war during the winter transfer window.

This is bad news for Jurgen Klopp, who spent the summer fighting off Barcelona which went all the way to Deadline Day. Mane is an important component to the Liverpool boss, as the club are playing Champions League football.
