BBC Coverage Of The Open Golf Championship Extended to 2016
The BBC has agreed a new six year contract with golf’ governing body the R&A to broadcast coverage of the Open until 2016 .The new contract keeps exclusive live coverage of the event with the BBC and also includes radio broadcast, interactive mediums, online coverage, the BBC’s iPlayer service and further developments in technology such as 3D coverage.
