bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge features Man United v Chelsea as customers get a midweek chance at winning £1million!

Could we finally get our first jackpot winner of the season in this midweek edition of the 6 Scores challenge? After no one amongst more than 250,000 players could obtain six, or even five, correct guesses last week, it’s redemption time for the participants of the free-to-play game.

The most success was had in the game between West Ham and Crystal Palace. With both teams leaving the pitch with a share of the spoils, over 18% of players were able to successfully predict the 1-1 scoreline.

It would be the six-goal thriller that caused the most confusion in last weekend’s 6 Scores challenge, as less than 1% of players correctly identified a 3-3 classic between Manchester City and Tottenham.

Participants did not leave empty handed after their efforts though, as the £10,000 prizepot was shared between those with four correct guesses, with a cool bit of profit in their back pocket.

With unsuccessful weekend editions leaving players itching to win the top prize, will it be the weeknight games that prove to be a lucky charm?

It’s midweek mania as Premier League games occupy the void usually left in the weekend-to-weekend wait for more top flight action.

It’s a solo performance from Wednesday evening as all six of the 6 Scores challenge games take place on one night. The four games kicking off at 19:30 will see Sheffield United v Liverpool, Brighton v Brentford, Crystal Palace v Bournemouth, and Fulham v Nottingham Forest.

The final two games will be the two later games beginning at 20:15 where Aston Villa welcome Manchester City to the West Midlands, and Chelsea make the journey to face Manchester United.

The free-to-play game gives customers the chance to win cash prizes by predicting the scores of six football matches, every week. The premise is very simple… yet the reward could be huge!

View all 6 Scores Challenge fixtures below. Don’t forget, all is not lost if you fall short on one or two results, bet365 will also be offering prizes for three, four and five correct results.

Sheffield United v Liverpool | Wednesday 19:30 | Make your prediction here

Liverpool’s dramatic 4-3 win over Fulham has helped them leapfrog Manchester City and leave just two points between them and first-place Arsenal. If Burnley can score five past Sheffield United, you fear that Liverpool could really kick a side whilst they’re down. Whether it’s Paul Heckingbottom or someone else at the Sheffield United helm, you’d expect Klopp’s side to maintain their pursuit for top spot in a comfortable win against The Blades.

Brighton v Brentford | Wednesday 19:30 | Make your prediction here

Brighton will fear it was a missed opportunity not to have got the better of ten-man Chelsea, but are never short of confidence when they’re playing at The Amex. Having only lost once at home all season, De Zerbi will be hopeful for a result against Brentford, who struggle on the road. Brentford did produce a comprehensive win against Luton to enter this with some momentum, and it is food for thought if you consider Brighton’s leaky defence regardless of their firepower.

Crystal Palace v Bournemouth | Wednesday 19:30 | Make your prediction here

No clean sheets, one win, and 18 goals conceded paints a picture of Bournemouth’s frailties when playing away. However, if there’s a time for Bournemouth to pounce, it could be against Crystal Palace in front of the Selhurst Park fans. Palace haven’t won at home since the beginning of September, and they’ll be looking to Odsonne Edouard to build on his six league goals if they can secure a home win. Dominic Solanke is the main threat on Bournemouth’s side though, and he boasts seven league goals of his own as he looks to keep the home fans quiet.

Fulham v Nottm Forest | Wednesday 19:30 | Make your prediction here

Not many teams will go to Liverpool, score three, and still end up on the losing side. If that same Fulham show up and match that approach, then you’d back them to better Nottingham Forest. Steve Cooper’s side have conceded less goals, but there’s very little to separate the two teams as they’ll both be desperate to edge away from the bottom three. Is there a draw on the cards here?

Aston Villa v Man City | Wednesday 20:15 | Make your prediction here

Aston Villa are deservedly occupying a Champions League place at this moment in time having produced some tremendous football under Unai Emery. They hold a perfect home form to complement their fourth-place position currently, and they have every chance of taking points from Manchester City. Three league draws on the bounce for Pep’s City puts extra pressure on a win at Villa Park. Although a draw would be enough to keep them in third place, they will be at full-throttle to make sure no further ground is offered up to Liverpool and Arsenal. A win for Villa moves them above the reigning champions though if they can pass a tough test.

Man United v Chelsea | Wednesday 20:15 | Make your prediction here

The damning statistic regarding United’s away form against teams in the “Top 9″ will deflate fans even further as they hope to bounce back against Chelsea. The home side remain the only team yet to have a drawn a game this season, with many hoping the right United show up to keep them loitering amongst European places. Chelsea’s involvement in some of the season’s greatest spectacles could see them well equipped for United. Poch’s side are prone to conceding goals when they go toe-to-toe with teams, but United’s lack of scoring prowess could see Chelsea close the gap between them and their opposition to just two points.
