The 150th British Open Golf Championship gets underway at St Andrews tomorrow and the World No 1 Tiger Woods has ended his relationship with an old putter in an attempt to win at the Home of Golf for a third time .
Since his return to golf in the Spring ,Tiger has not looked recaptured top form despite finishing in a place at the Masters and the US Open .
Yesterday his long term caddie Steve Williams admitted Tiger "hadn’t putted well in any of his events" this year . By replacing his old putter with one from Nike his main sponsor , Tiger is gambling on improving the weakest part of his game at the moment .
