A rare Sunday afternoon game in the Championship from the MKM Stadium, where Hull City host Stoke, and both teams are looking to get out of the league slump they are currently in.
Stoke are up battling for the playoffs, a win takes them four points away from being in, and they have games in hand over most around them. Hull shot clear of the relegation zone before Christmas after a strong run, but that has slowed recently, although, they do remain four points clear of the drop zone.
Good Enough to Avoid Defeat, But Not Good Enough to Win?
These two teams look to be struggling right now, but going against each other, they could well cancel each other out. Both look as though they can avoid defeat, but when you consider what they have done recently, neither looks capable of actually going out and winning the game.
With that in mind, the draw is our first tip of the game, we fancy both to take home a point, which you can back at 12/5 with bet365.
A Score Draw on the Cards?
This doesn’t look like being a score less game though. In December, Hull drew twice, and both of those games saw goals, with 1-1 and 2-2 score lines. In four of the last five Hull games, both teams have scored a goal.
It has been much of the same for Stoke, they’ve lost their last two, but have scored in those defeats.
That points towards goals, so far a score line, we are going to side with a 1-1 draw between the teams, which you can back at 6/1 with bet365.
