Championship Starlet To Choose Tottenham Over Premier League Rivals

Fulham’s teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon is to be the subject of a major bidding war between the Premier League’s biggest clubs this summer, but reports suggest Tottenham are his preferred destination.

Sessegnon, 17, has been the catalyst for his side’s Championship promotion pushes in the last two years despite playing at left-back. An astonishing goal record of 14 this term has seen his price set at £50million at the very least.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be keen on signing him whether he helps Fulham to the Premier League or not, but he wants to join Spurs, which would mean staying in London and linking up with Mauricio Pochettino, who is admired for his work in developing young players.

There have even been rumours that he could make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia, though that could come a little too soon for one of the biggest young talents English football has seen in recent years.
