Chelmsford hosts a competitive nine-race card on Thursday evening with two Class 4 contests and plenty of prize money on offer, and top owners Juddmonte and Qatar Racing both have horses entered to run.
The action begins at 4:25pm, with the going set to be Standard and showers forecasted throughout the evening.

We’ve got two tips for the Thursday evening action at Chelmsford.
6:30pm Chelmsford - Alpha Zulu
Alpha Zulu has only had four career runs, including winning at Kempton in March.
He ran a solid fourth at that track two weeks ago over 7f, fading close to home to go down by just over one length.
The 2nd that day has since come out and won, and with few miles on the clock, Alpha Zulu can go close in this contest from a 1lb lower mark.
7:30pm Chelmsford - Kodi Hawk
This is a weak-looking contest, and a chance is taken on the Derek Shaw-trained Kodi Hawk on handicap debut.
He’s done very little on his three career runs, but he has been slowly away on each occasion, and last time out was 9th, well behind the 82-rated winner Sniper’s Eye.
However, an opening mark of 50 could underestimate Kodi Hawk, coupled with jockey Jonathan Fisher’s 5lb claim.
From a low draw, hopefully, Kodi Hawk can finally find a decent start and outrun his large odds.
