Southgate confirms latest England squad
Ahead of this month’s qualifiers, Gareth Southgate named his latest England squad on Thursday, November 9.
There were very few surprises in the squad, John Stones - who picked up an injury on Tuesday - misses out, while there is no place for a recently returned Reece James or an in-form Anthony Gordon.
But Gordon’s club teammate, Callum Wilson, still made the squad despite going off injured vs Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling also remains exiled from the team despite his club form improving over the last few months.
