Manchester United snatched a late winner at Crystal Palace on Monday night, but controversy has arisen when one of the home sides’ stewards was spotted celebrating with the players.

Nemanja Matic’s long range strike in stoppage time sealed the 3-2 victory after Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku had pulled United level. Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt had put the home side in front.

It was understandable that the Red Devils’ players wanted to celebrate wildly with their fans, but one man perhaps shouldn’t have shown much emotion, a Crystal Palace steward.
The steward was caught on camera appearing happy with Matic’s goal, before realising what he was doing and quickly putting a stop to it.
There were reports of a steward videoing the United players arriving at Selhurst Park, according to journalist Sam Luckhurst.
Manchester United host Liverpool in the Premier League next weekend.
