Liverpool team news for Fulham

Here is the latest Liverpool team news ahead of their meeting with Fulham.

Mohamed Salah’s agent confirmed via social media that the winger is set to be out for between 21 and 28 days after picking up an injury at the AFCON.

Dominik Szoboszlai has sat out three games with a hamstring injury but Jurgen Klopp is hopeful the player could face Fulham in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final.

Klopp said last week: “Maybe for Fulham, we will see how the boys do. But they are all close: Trent, Dom, Robbo. All going in the right direction, that’s all positive, but for the weekend’s game, no.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold is set for a spell on the sidelines after he picked up a knee injury against Arsenal in the FA Cup, which resulted in a tear in his lateral knee ligament.

Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders stated that Alexander-Arnold is expected to miss ‘a few weeks’ of action, with a return in early February touted.
