Eden Hazard has responded to claims he wasn’t in fact fouled for a penalty in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot just moments after Jack Wilshere had given the Gunners the lead. Hector Bellerin, who later would equalise for Arsenal after Marcos Alonso’s strike, was adjudged to have brought Hazard down before the Belgian scored the spotkick.

Replays showed that Hazard had perhaps exaggerated the contact between he and Bellerin, but in an interview with Sky Sports alongside the Arsenal defender, he denied the need to watch it again because it was a clear foul.

Of course, Bellerin had claimed he wanted to see it.

Overall the result was probably fair. Arsenal looked great going forward but were thwarted by Thibaut Courtois in the Chelsea goal, and Alvaro Morata missed a number chances for Antonio Conte’s men.
