Luke Shaw injury update
After the huge win over Aston Villa, Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update on Luke Shaw.
Victor Lindelof emerged to warm up at the interval at Villa Park and replaced Shaw for the second half.
The left-back has already sustained thigh and muscular injuries this season and many feared the worst when he was substituted, but Ten Hag was keen to stress his substitution was a precaution.
When asked about Shaw in his post-match press conference, Ten Hag said: “Was precaution, Luke Shaw, he gave some messages about complaints.
“With Luke Shaw, we know his history with too many injuries and we couldn’t go into that risk. A very important game but we can’t miss him for six weeks.”
