Manchester United injury latest
Before taking on Everton, Manchester United have a number of injury concerns to deal with.
Christian Eriksen was forced off after 40 minutes during the Luton game last weekend and Man United have since provided an update on his situation, with the Dane set to be missing for around one month with a knee problem.
Rasmus Hojlund also picked up an injury vs Luton and had to pull of out the Denmark squad. Unlike his international and club teammate, though, Hojlund has not suffered a serious injury but instead, a muscle strain. It is hoped he will have recovered from it by the end of November. This makes the striker somewhat of a doubt to take on Everton.
On a less positive note, Erik ten Hag confirmed recently that Casemiro picked up an injury during United’s League Cup loss to Newcastle: “He was injured just before half-time. That’s why we have to take him off.” The Brazilian is expected to be out of action until January.
Finally, Luke Shaw has missed the majority of 2023/24 with a muscle problem and is also likely to miss out when Man United travel to Everton, as the left-back is touted to return in early December.
