Bookmakers are offering free bets to new customers on a range of events at the 2010 European Athletics Championships.
GBR’s Mohammed Farah lines up with gold expectations for the men’s 10,000m event in Barcelona tonight.
Somalian born Farah came to Britain in 1993 and the 27 year-old distance runner has established himself Britain’s fastest man at 3,000m and 5,000m since the great David Moorcroft.
This year he won the London 10k in a UK record time of 27:44 and won the European Cup 10,000m in 27:28:26
He will be the fastest runner on tonight’s starting line and bookmakers make him a strong favourite to win gold.
Online bookmaker bwin are offering odds of 3/5 for Farah to win what is likely to be GBR’s first gold medal of the competition.
