Henrik Larsson has given his verdict on Rasmus Hojlund’s best quality as Manchester United’s marquee summer signing struggles to adapt to the Premier League.
Hojlund is currently injured and will miss the Red Devils’ next outing vs Everton on Sunday but United are still favourites for the clash and can be backed at 6/4 with bet365 to pick up the win.
Rasmus Hojlund’s best quality
Despite Manchester United’s struggles, Hojlund is performing well in the Champions League this season and already has five goals to his name from four group games.
However, he is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League after nine appearances.
Such poor form has led to question marks over Hojlund’s ability but Larsson believes the Dane is a fast player who wants to go beyond the opposition’s backline if his teammates can see it:
“I liked what I saw. He is a striker with some speed. He was willing to go beyond the opponents’ back four or back three, however, you want to see it,” he said.
“It’s early to say, but he looks interesting because physically, there is a presence about him. It’s going to take some time before he settles in. He’s new to the club and getting used to the other players. But hopefully, for United, he can be a good striker.”
